A personal assistant, for €28.90.

01  The problem

Explaining it all over again, every week.

Artificial intelligence does the work. What it does not do is remember how you want it done. Without that, every conversation starts from zero and you spend your life repeating instructions.

The instruction wears off

Asking once gets you two good paragraphs.

By the third the model goes back to what it learned from whoever trained it. Anyone writing American English knows the feeling: you ask for US spelling and half a page later the British forms are back.

The method lives in your head

You know how you want a contract read. It is written down nowhere.

Which clauses to check first, what to flag, what to ignore. Every time you ask, you explain it again, and the result comes out a little different.

Hiring costs something else

A person doing this costs thousands a year.

And they work forty hours a week, take vacation and get sick. Work that repeats does not need a person. It needs to be written down.

A Skill is your method written once, kept in a file, that loads itself every time it is needed.

02  The two language ones

The two Skills that fix the language.

01

American English

Turns British spelling, punctuation and conventions into American ones, and catches the forms a spellchecker never flags because both are real words. It carries a table of ninety-nine pairs, plus the rules a checker cannot see: commas inside the quotation marks, dates with the month first, thousands with a comma.

"Fix this into American English"

02

No machine accent

Em dashes, brochure vocabulary, sentences all the same length, the rule of three, and the closing paragraph that summarizes what was already said. It counts the tells instead of banning them, because one goes unnoticed and four in the same paragraph give it away.

03  The other eight

The other eight Skills, for everyday work.

None of them is a generic assistant. Each one has a method inside, with what to do and what never to do.

03

Explain it in plain English

An IRS notice, an insurance policy, lab results. It answers in the order of the worry: is this good or bad, do I have to do something, by when.

04

Read before you sign

The ten clauses that cost money, with the math done, and the questions ready to send to the other side.

05

Hooks that stop the scroll

It researches what is working on the topic before writing. Ten templates, adapted to each network.

06

From an idea to a post

From a voice note to a published post, in your voice. If there is nothing to say, it asks questions instead of padding.

07

News routine

The topics and the days you choose. It gives back what changed and what is noise. If nothing happened, it says so.

08

Prepare a hard conversation

A raise, a collection call. What you ask for, what you accept, and where you walk away from the table.

09

Prepare a meeting

It studies the company and the person, and gives back five questions their website would not answer.

10

Plan the week

It counts the hours that actually exist and tells you what is not going to get done. That block is what saves the plan.

04  Inside

Are they safe? The inside is in plain view.

Anthropic warns people to be careful with third-party Skills, because one of them could tell Claude to run code or fetch things off the internet. It is a fair warning and it applies to these. The answer is not to promise. It is to open them up.

## -ise becomes -ize

No spellchecker flags these, because both spellings are real words.

| British | American |
|-----------------|-----------------------|
| organise | organize |
| recognise | recognize |
| prioritise | prioritize |

Careful, these are the same on both sides and do not get changed:
advertise, compromise, exercise, supervise, surprise, televise, revise.

## The quotation mark trap

In American English the comma and the period go inside the quotation marks.
The British put them outside , and no checker flags it.
Zero scriptsThere is no executable file in the package. Thirteen text files and nothing else.
Zero networkNone of them fetches anything from anywhere. There are no URLs and no requests.
Auditable in ten minutesRead them before you install. It is all readable and it is all there.
No account to createThere is no signup and no password. The purchase asks for a name and an email, like any purchase, and the payment is handled by the platform. We store no card details.

05  Installing

How to install a Skill in Claude.

You do not need to know how to code. It is three steps in Claude's settings, and each Skill takes about thirty seconds to upload. In Claude Code it is a single action for all ten.

01

Turn on code execution

In settings, under Settings › Capabilities, turn on Code execution and file creation. Without it the Skills section does not even appear.

02

Upload each one

In settings, under Settings › Skills, click Add and upload the .zip of each Skill. They come ready. About thirty seconds each.

03

Check it works

In a new conversation, type: fix this, "we organised the colour catalogue". If it answers "we organized the color catalog", you are set.

On claude.ai it is one at a time. Anthropic does not allow several in a single file. That is why the guide suggests starting with two and bringing the others in when you need them. In Claude Code you copy the folder and all ten are there.

You need a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan. That holds for both routes, claude.ai and Claude Code alike.

On the free plan there is a workaround. You paste the Skill's text at the start of the conversation, as an instruction. It works well. What you lose is it loading on its own.

06  Frequently asked

Questions before buying the Skills.

Can I not get the same thing just by asking Claude?

You can, for two or three paragraphs. Then the instruction wears off and it goes back to what it learned, which is a mix of British and American. A Skill does not wear off: it loads in full every time it is needed, with the spelling table and the punctuation rules inside.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once, you download, and they are yours. There is no renewal and no monthly fee.

Can I edit them?

You can. They work as they are, and most people never touch them. They are plain text files, so if you ever want to add a rule of your own, open it and write. They are yours to keep.

Does it work on ChatGPT or another assistant?

No. Skills are a Claude format. On another assistant you can paste the text as an instruction, but you lose the main thing, which is that they load themselves.

Do I have to install all ten?

No. Install as many as you like, at whatever pace you like: all ten at once, one at a time, or only the ones you need. Each one works on its own, and one that is not being used weighs nothing.

Do they get in each other's way?

No. Only the one that matches what you are asking for loads. Two work together on purpose: the post one calls the hooks one and the cleanup one.

Is there a Portuguese version?

There is, and it is a separate package with ten Skills written from scratch for European Portuguese. They are not translations: the language one strips Brazilian forms instead of British ones, and the document one talks about the Portuguese tax authority instead of the IRS.
